The fairy story continues

More than two months ago I wrote about the amazing Dolce&Gabbana’s Alta Moda show held in the island of Capri. As it seems, the tale continues, due to the work of photographer Boo George, who made a fairy-tale editorial for Vogue Japan October 2014 in style of the Alta Moda show. This project’s big names are Anna Dello Russo and Giovanna Bataglia fashion editors, and models Nadja Bender, Kinga Rajzak and Dalianah Arekion.

I think in the future I’ll give a bigger attention to Boo George’s work because he’s so talented like in the the newest Emporio Armani campaign shot and video.

What do you think of this job of Boo George? Who’s your favourite photographer?

Weekly mood

I found some inspiring pictures in Love Magazine for the aw14 season. They’re a little melancholic, but that’s why I love them. 100% autumn feeling with young freedom and nature. Perfect job from Marlene Marino photographer and Anders Solvstein Thomsen stylist with models Dani Witt, Natalie Westling and Ysaunny Brito.

Vogue Italia’s 50th Anniversary

In everyone’s life there are many anniversaries: birth, first love, high-school graduation, degree, marriage and many others. Now, it’s also the jubilee of Vogue Italia, a very huge milestone: the fiftieth. During this half century several things happened, people came and left, but some are still on the board to celebrate with the Italian Vogue. As a gift to the readers, Steven Meisel created a stunning cover with legends like Christy Turlington, Naomi Capmbell, Linda Evangelista, Carolyn Murphy and Natalia Vodianova and with todays top models like Fei Fei Sun, Jessica Stam, Sasha Pivarova, Joan Smalls and Vanessa Axente. So, we can say that September is the month of the most-awaited magazine covers, especially the Vogue.

Steven also made an editorial with these models for Vogue It. My favourite is the Hungarian top model, Vanessa Axente (right picture, in the center). To read the full story, click to
